Cryptags® patented technology provides many benefits to system designers, integrators and end users. Not least because these tags do not interfere with other electronic surveillance systems and therefore do not result in fake alarms, etc. The typical error rate for Cryptag® Census® is 1: 100 million at worst - it is significantly better than any other tag system. Cryptag® Census® tags can be delivered with a fixed one-time programmed 32 or 64 bit code. Strict factory audits ensure that two tags are never issued with the same ID number.
TC1 Cryptags® has a passive shelf life of 7 years or more, when stored at 20 ° C. Operating life depends on use. Based on 36 applications per day of 10 seconds each, or six minutes of continuous interaction per day, the typical life at 20 ° C is 5 years or more.
